Du Fu: Boating(from Chinese

In South Capital a long stranger cultivating the south fields,
By north windows I sit, woeful over war-swallowed north land.
For the sake of bright daylight I invite my old wife for a boating,
While rowing watching our child son bathing in the clear river.
Coupled butterflies fly caressing each other.
Twin lotuses are blessed born together on the same stalk.
Tea and sugarcane juice as all we have to carry,
From porcelain jars taste no less sweet than from pots of jade.
